REVIEW: Nikon 50mm f/1.8
Posted by Bengt Köhler Sandberg 2012-03-06
f/1.8 to f/22
7 bladed aperure
Infinit to 0.6m (2ft)
Standard 35mm film size (24×36 mm negative)
I got a bit of flare in the f/1.8 shot so this have a little problem with that.
But this lens is not that bad at all even wide open.
Its a bit soft and it have a little bit of glow in hi contrast.
Even sharpness all over and nice contrast.
Analogue B&W film

It have a little flare and ghost

f/1.8 - f/2.8 - f/4 - f/5.6 - f/8 - f/11 - f/16 - f/22
Not as good as Nikkor lenses but still not bad at all.
You can get this lens for next to nothing because no one wants these for some reason.
I love this and its my 50mm of choice if I want to back light
Really small and lightweight
Good image quality
